Lobotam

Due the effort required to produce a viable version of Hyppocampus, complete with all features which will enhance the Lobotomy system in future, an evolutionary prototype is planned to validate at least the graphic level of the environment (Synapse and the Thoughts templating).

This sub-project aims to substitute Hyppocampus with a standard indexer already available on the Linux desktop, accessed throught the  Xesam protocol to maintain interoperability and availability of a data store. A number of functionalities would not be deployed in that kind of scenario, due the dependency on tools which doesn't handle all data and metadata required to boost the complete orthogonality promised in Lobotomy, but that would be an occasion to proceed with other components development and, perhaps, produce a software which can be used on classic desktops as a secondary file management option.
