Items

In Lobotomy, Items are not but collections of metadata.

Conceptually are equivalent of the notion of "file", common in Informatics, but may rappresent every set of aggregated informations: a document, a contact, an event, and in future more abstracted concepts. The only difference existing between an Item rappresenting, for example, a document or a contact is in attached metadata: given that every metadata may be assigned to every Item, some particular information may suggest the real nature of the element itself, for example the mimetype.

In future evolutions Items will be pure information, which will be trasformed? case by case as requested by the presentation request: a contact would be used in place of an image (because of the metadata linking the photo of the person) or a document as a video (with the slideshow of the pages).
